Fayetteville, Arkansas (Road Trip-Second Stop)

We have always been intrigued about Fayetteville, Arkansas. In 2021, U.S. News and World reported it as the fourth best place to live in the US. So... when Jairo asked which spot we would be visiting for Spring Break, the city immediately came to mind.

After doing a little bit of research, we found the most charming airbnb close to the University of Arkansas campus.

Where We Stayed in Fayetteville, AR

The Boho Bungalow from "Boutique AirBnbs" is the perfect renovated 1950's Fayetteville home. The bungalow sits on a quiet tree covered street. Once you arrive you truly get a feel for the original period it was built in the 50s.

Gabe and Hayden are incredible hosts. Their passion for travel and attention to detail really showed in their bungalow. Fun fact... this is Gabe's childhood home which they chose to renovate. Overall they did an incredible job designing the space with fun patterned wall papers. It even has a retro fridge (which we love!) You can find the link to book here!

What We Did!

After a long road trip from South Florida to Fayettville, Arkansas with a stop in Mobile, Alabama, we were beyond exhausted. It also didn't help that the girls were sick with a cold and passed it on to me. So... the first few days we just relaxed and enjoyed the property. It was nice to wake up and fall asleep with the sound of nature. We even had a cardinal that would visit often.

Branson, MO

Once we were all feeling much better, we decided to branch out and explore Branson, MO.

The drive was about one hour and 40 minutes. We enjoyed the scenic drive and hopping from one state to another.

Celebrity Car Museum is fun for the whole family. They have a collection of over 100 iconic movie and tv show vehicles. Ashley especially loved the different Jurassic Park cars they had stationed outside. Jairo and I were excited when we saw the Stranger Things Hawkins van.

Once we were done there, we went over to Prehistoric Fossils where Ashley did some dinosaur exploring. She found some awesome pieces to add to her Dino collection.

To be continued...

XOXO
